Return Policy | Warranty Support
At Care Medical Source our number one priority is to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. While we always strive to help you order the product that is right for your needs, we understand that you may occasionally receive a product that simply doesn’t work for you. In these cases we are happy to work with you in returning or exchanging the product.
Returnable Items: Most items purchased from Care Medical Source are returnable within 30 days of the date of purchase if the item is in new, resalable condition (no cracks, scratches, dirt, etc.) and in its original packaging containing all parts and accessories.
All returns require a Return Authorization Number which will be issued by Care Medical Source. No returns of any type will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number. Returns must be made within 10 days of receiving your Return Authorization Number.
All returned items must be received by Care Medical Source and inspected prior to any refund being issued.
Non-Returnable Items: Some items purchased from Care Medical Source are non-returnable for hygienic reasons or if the item was custom-made by the manufacturer to your specifications. These items include but are not limited to:
- Custom wheelchairs including ultralight and sport wheelchairs
- Handcycles and racing wheelchairs
- Special order or customized items
- Used wheelchair cushions, backs or replacement covers
- Seat lift chairs with custom fabric or options
- Opened urological and ostomy products
- Raised toilet seats and toilet safety rails
- Transfer benches and bath seats
- Closeout/clearance items
Exceptions to non-returnable items would be if the item(s) received were different than the item(s) ordered.
Restocking Fee: Some items may be subject to a restocking fee. This fee will vary depending upon the fee the manufacturer will charge Care Medical Source to return the item. When you contact Care Medical Source to obtain your Return Authorization Number you will be notified if the item is subject to a restocking fee.
Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. You may return the item to Care Medical Source using the shipping carrier of your choice.
In the case of an order/shipping error caused by Care Medical Source we will cover the return shipping charges by either sending you a return shipping bag with label or by issuing a call tag for the pick up of the item. When you contact Care Medical Source to obtain your Return Authorization Number you will be provided details for returning the item.
Refunds: Once your return is received, inspected and found to meet all return requirements Care Medical Source will issue a refund to the credit card used for the purchase. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the date the return is received for your refund to be issued.
If you paid by check, money order or bank wire we will issue a check within 30 days. Bank wire transfer fees are non-refundable.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
How to Return an Item: Contact Care Medical Source to obtain your Return Authorization Number prior to returning your item by calling 800.443.7091 (U.S. or Canada) or 503.802.0582 (International) or e-mailing email@example.com.
Within 10 days of receiving your Return Authorization Number ship the item back to Care Medical Source noting the Return Authorization Number you received:

Defective Items: Care Medical Source stands behind the products we offer. If you receive an item that you believe is defective please contact us immediately by calling 800.443.7091 (U.S. or Canada) or 503.802.0582 (International) or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange to have the item replaced and the defective item returned to us for evaluation.

All warranty returns require a Return Authorization Number and each manufacturer has different procedures for processing returns so please do not mail items back to Care Medical Source or the manufacturer without contacting us first.
