    Essential for Proper Cleaning

Posted by Michael on Sep 12th 2018

UROLUX cleaner is essential for the proper cleaning of UROCARE body worn sheath urinals, latex collection bags, tubing and the collection bottle. A medicine dispenser attachment using a measuring syringe will assist in the measuring the product. 5 cc for sheath cleaning and 10 cc for latex bags with water is adequate. Once all foaming has stopped then the item is rinsed and dried for future use. Also, a post-rinse of baking soda solution will help to neutralize the cleaner and residual uric acid. From time to time a rinse of hydrogen peroxide minimizes bacterial contamination with these items. (original post date March 19, 2015)
